PJ Crook has had nearly sixty exhibition both here and around the globe, including in Japan, the USA, France, Estonia and Canada etc.
She has works in numerous public collections including the Imperial War Museum, National Maritime Museum, National Horse Racing Museum, Morohashi Museum of Modern Art (who have thirty two pieces) Gloucester Museum & Art Gallery and The Wilson, who have six, Rye Art Gallery, Leicestershire Museum Services and Somerset Museum Services.And private collections including Paul Allen, Jackie Collins, Lord Bamford, Sir Christopher Evans, Sir David McMurtry, the late Marquis of Bath, Toyah Willcox & Robert Fripp, Billy Joel, Holly Johnson, Pamela Stephenson & Billy Connolly and Peter Gabriel.
King Crimson has reproduced over twenty of her works on their albums and publishers such as Oxford University Press, Livres de Poche and Penguin have reproduced her paintings on their book covers.
PJ has an honorary Doctor of Art from the University of Gloucestershire and an MBE for services to art. She is patron of the National Star College, Linc the blood cancer charity, Cheltenham Open Studios, Artshape and has been president of the Friends of The Wilson for nearly twenty years.
Her most recent exhibition was in June with her London dealers, Portland Gallery in St James’s and her next show will be at the Paragon Gallery in Cheltenham next year.
My little painting The Friends was created especially for this event. Friendship is one of the most precious elements in life - I wonder where any of us would be without our friends.
