Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea, five storeys above the Cotswolds
Afternoon tea, five
storeys above the Cotswolds.
A short, considered list. Three tiers, a glass on arrival, the terrace open into the evening.
A room that opens out to the sky. A pace that's yours.
The Nook is more than a restaurant. A rooftop dining room, a bar with the best view in Cheltenham, and, in the afternoon, a stand of scones and a pot of tea that lingers.
Everything you'd expect. Nothing you wouldn't.
i.
Prosecco to start
A glass of chilled Prosecco on arrival. Champagne available to upgrade at the table if that's more your speed.
ii.
Loose-leaf tea list
Six blends from a small supplier in Devon, refilled as often as you'd like. Ask for our recommendation of the day.
iii.
Warm scones from the pass
Plain and fruit, brought warm from the kitchen with Cornish clotted cream and house preserves.
iv.
The view, obviously
Fifth-floor terrace, Cotswold horizon. The rooftop is at its best after 3pm when the light softens.
