Date night is sorted.
Treat yourselves to our inaugural 7 course tasting menu this Valentine’s. We have a wine flight to pair perfectly with each dish and you can either finish off or start the evening with a complementary ride on the Cheltenham Observation Wheel!
Consisting of the finest high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, each dish has been crafted to reflect the theme for the evening - romance.
The menu opens with a classic aphrodisiac - oysters; fried & fresh with a Tabasco & mignonette dressing.
The successive courses include a tomato consommé with basil, oil and chilli as well as a hazelnut crusted Halibut with cauliflower and onion purée, charred Gem and caviar beurre blanc.
The fourth course of the evening will be a cheddar and manchego beignet with truffle shavings, followed by a fifth course of duck breast, red cabbage purée, confit leg potato pave, artichoke crisps and a jus to finish.
A passion fruit cremeux follows before the seventh and final dish of the evening - a dark chocolate fondant with cherry ripple ice cream.
The Nook on Five occupies the fifth floor of the Quadrangle and boasts incredible views across the regency town. Specialising in Modern British cuisine, the rooftop restaurant also has an afternoon tea lounge, cocktail bar as well a café-bar on the ground floor.
